The life and times of a true knucklehead – No photos to be used without permission
The building behind our house installed some Christmas lights on their trees, so we took advantage of that.
We went down south to visit my Ma and in between cleaning details we managed to eat & socialize a bit. Our 1st night we had a small snack at Bomb Chicken.
We stayed with Don & Hester but all throughout during breakfast I had to feeling we were unwelcome by Mr Squirrel. For lunch we ate with Mom, on a BBQ chicken pizza by Aloha Pizza.
We met up with Carie for dinner at King’s Hawaiian.
Sandy has been wanting to give Mom a haircut and she finally got the chance.
A final shopping stop at Tokyo Central as we headed home.
He will deny it, but I have a record proof. There’s a $500.00 reward to any tip that will lead to an arrest.
Follow up: A week and a half later I found the apple 🍎 wedged in a nearby tree. I’ve never seen this type of squirrel behavior before.
This year we invaded the Yuen’s for Thanksgiving. All throughout the afternoon we could hear bodies being slammed in the upstairs rooms. None of the parents were concerned… I guess that is normal.
Thanks to Sandy for her photos.
Revisited this place tonight.
Had to spend the night in Redding so I quickly ran out to the river to shoot something.
While changing their food I decided to hangout to see if I could get close. Hummingbirds need to eat every 15 minutes, so I thought I could wait em out.
We ferried into San Francisco and combed through the farmers market, before our 1:oo rezzie at Coqueta.
A short walk to Chinatown, a pose off then back home.
Thank you to Sid, Rhea & Sandy for the pix.
This year was a bit different than years past. Sid & Rhea came up for a Wedding so we decided to make a weekend of it. Day 1, after an early arrival we served a French Omelette breakfast then headed to the Napa Valley for some fun. Wine tasting at Castello diAmoroso was a double edge sword, nice but a bit too popular.
We then transitioned to the Oxbow Public Market and decided to have lunch at Hog Island Oyster.
Thank you to Sid, Rhea & Sandy for the pix.
Sadly tonight Minnie passed away.
