The life and times of a true knucklehead – No photos to be used without permission
As we did last year we met at Round One for a little fun, unfortunately it was a small turn out.
We had an impromptu lunch date with Ate Girlie. Sandy choose Coqueta as our venue, I’ll never complain about that.
We never go to steak houses, we simply have a problem with paying high dollar for something we can cook at home. Sandy gifted me Japanese steak for Christmas last year and I finally worked up the nerve to cook it (Sous Vide). I wanna say it brought back memories of our Japan steak experience but… I have to say this was much better. It was an excellent Valentine’s Day dinner.
I been trying to photograph what I thought was a woody woodpecker. Now I found out it is a female Belted Kingfisher. I could not get a shot of her diving for a fish.
I had to throw in an Egret photo.
I believe it’s called a wolf moon.
I have number of miscellaneous photos from the numerous visits and outings during the holidays.
While we were in the Philippines Brian & Drew turned me on to this incredible tasting rum.
Last day of 2019, of course we had to work… so dammit I bought a steak. Actually it was Brian’s last dinner with us so we threw it on the grill.
Later we dropped Brian off at Vanden’s.
Day after Christmas, off to Salinas. Unfortunately I didn’t take many photos.
Uncle Harry & Aunty Sharon brought an old newspaper that I just had to photograph.
We spent this years Christmas in San Diego. Our 1st stop was see my Ma and a great dinner at Furaibo, which I forgot to photograph. Mommi put in a request for my Ma’s tangerines. We were not ready for the response…
The following morning off to LAX for a Mommi & Brian pickup. From there 2hrs south to San Diego.
The traditional white elephant gift exchange.
