I drive by these huge pieces of art in Geyserville when traveling up north. Today I stopped by to photograph them.
Work took me close to the coast so I ran on over to Bodega Head.
A surprise last minute visit from Rhea.
This year we decided to go up to Lake Tahoe for the long weekend. We had a short list of things to do family, food & photography. We found a great place to stay at the Black Bear Lodge & had dinner at The Lake House twice.
Today we marked 19 years together. Sandy gave me this really cute card. It was the inspiration for tonight’s dinner at Angel Fish, I mean leftovers. We will celebrate properly this weekend.
In the middle of grilling lunch I spotted this bug on the trash can.
Today we visited Bell Plastics during their open house. This is the place that is home to many iconic statues from the past.
Got a hold of one of these via Ebay.
Today we had a visit from Sandy’s cousin Ging. It’s hard to believe this is the 1st time I’ve met her. We tried something different this time, a constant light in a softbox with a clamshell configuration using a Westcott Eyelighter for fill. Sandy was shooting the photos remotely with an iPad Pro.
I decided to checkout the Dog Surfing Competition in Pacifica after hearing about for years. I couldn’t stay long and they were running late. So not much in the way of surfing pix. There was so much moisture in the air I had to wipe off the front of my lens every 10 seconds or so.
